Official Rebate & Incentive Applications

Program funding, income rules, and project requirements can change. Use the official program portals to confirm eligibility, availability, and documentation requirements before work begins.

EV Panel Upgrade Rebate

SCE Charge Ready Home

For qualifying SCE residential customers preparing a single-family home for Level 2 EV charging. The program offers panel upgrade rebates up to $4,200 for qualified low-income households or public assistance enrollees, and up to $2,100 for qualified homes in disadvantaged communities.

  • Designed for electrical panel upgrades tied to home EV charging readiness.
  • Homeowners choose their own licensed contractor or select from eligible contractors in their area.
  • The contractor completes the upgrade and helps submit the rebate documentation.
Battery Storage Incentive

California SGIP

The Self-Generation Incentive Program helps eligible California utility customers install battery storage. SGIP includes General Market, Equity, and Equity Resiliency pathways, with availability and incentive levels managed through the statewide program and local administrators.

  • Can support battery systems that store solar power or grid power for outage backup.
  • Eligibility may depend on utility territory, income, medical baseline, fire threat district, PSPS history, housing type, or prior solar incentive participation.
  • Applications are commonly coordinated with the installer and the local program administrator.

Plan the Upgrade Before You File

Rebate applications are easier when the project scope is clear. We review your existing panel, EV charging goals, solar or battery plans, and utility requirements so the application matches the actual work needed at the property.

For Charge Ready Home, that often means confirming whether a panel upgrade is needed for Level 2 charging. For SGIP, it means matching the battery system, backup loads, and eligibility path before documents are submitted.

Confirm Funding Before Work Begins

Most incentive programs require approval, reservations, or documentation before reimbursement. Do not assume a completed project will qualify retroactively without checking the current program rules first.

We can help you build the technical scope, but final eligibility and rebate approval come from the utility, program administrator, or statewide portal.
